Middle ages people awareness about barefoot in South Bohemia
KULTOVÁ, Lenka
Recently, "barefoot" is getting increasingly popular all over the world. Most people have already heard about it but, in fact, their knowledge is still very limited. They possibly have a notion of barefoot as a healthy way how to walk ans some of them might have even tried to practise it. However, their barefoot efforts so far have mostly been ad-hoc, far from being professional and systematical. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how much people in the middle age category are informed about this topic. The theoretical part deals with the foot anatomy, reflex points on the sole and also examines how we use our feet. The practical part evaluates the participants´answers to my own questionnaire that tries to analyze people´s awareness of barefoot walking and their practical experience with it. Each question is duly commented and discussed.
